The Pastushin Ashtray




A Douglas DC-4E desktop ashtray made by V.F. Pastushin Co., Santa Monica, CA. to commemorate the marvelous 'Super Mainliner' launch. This ashtray airplane has a wingspan of 8", tail span of 2.5", the fuselage is 5" and stands 5" tall.

I have an original copy of the sales brochure for the DC-4E. Send me an email and I can provide photos for your Blog.

BTW, The DC-4E was the first airliner to use an APU to keep power running and the air conditioners functioning.
